Today was our last full day in Christchurch. We went to the U17 cricket tournament and walked around the city center for some good food and people watching.
A game of cricket at the Queen Elizabeth II Park
The game was supposed to last some 4 or 5 hours. Considering the fact that we had no idea how the game is played or what the heck was going on, we stuck it out for 2 hours.
Enjoying a few samples of beer at the Dux de Lux
Acrobat performers, warming up for the World Busker's Festival
The festival is in downtown Christchurch from Jan 21-31 and draws over 300,000 people to watch street, circus and comedy performances
The floral clock in Victorian Square
There's no hiding the fact that we're tourists!
The ad doesn't exactly say that McDonalds uses free range eggs, just that they love them. We're still not going to eat there!
